ANFIS based sliding mode control of a DFIG wind turbine excited by an indirect matrix converter

<span lang="EN-US">Doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) is very popular in commercial turbines installed worldwide. Indirect matrix converter (IMC) a fully silicon-based without capacitor that could be used wind turbines. In this paper robust ANFIS based second order sliding mode controller proposed to control the DFIG turbine excited by IMC converter. combination of fuzzy logic and artificial neural networks. This hybrid decrease complexity system. scheme does not need exact mathematical model system as needed classical methods. The effectiveness verified simulation results compared PI controller.</span>
